Private piano lessons for students of all levels & abilities -- beginners of any age are welcome! I also have a full Computer Lab, to assist you in learning Music Theory, Composition, Music History, and more. You will study using a Chickering grand, and Clavinova digital keyboards.
Four times each year (August,December, March, May) one Private Lesson is replaced by a Group Lesson, in which students will perform for each other and enjoy group activities and theory games to reinforce such concepts as rhythm, composition, practice strategies, etc. These are small groups of 6-8 students of mixed ages and playing levels.

I believe that learning to play a musical instrument should, foremost, be for the student's enjoyment! As soon as some of the basics are learned ... you will begin to work on music that YOU, the students choose to learn. I do always supplement with the Classics, as I believe they offer a firm foundation for any line of study. |
